Both resorts were awarded for its commitment towards its high food safety management systems by the ISO 22000:2005.
This certification was awarded by the SGS Societe Generale de Surveillance SA Systems & Services Certification “Bureau Veritas” which is the global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), delivering high quality services to help clients meet the growing challenges of quality, safety, environmental protection and social responsibility. ISO 22000:2005 is known to have the Highest Food Safety Standards in the world and Theme Resorts and Spa is privileged to be recognized for its commitment towards its ultimate food safety management systems.
‘Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points’ or HACCP on the other hand is a systematic preventive approach that evaluates the hazards of the production process rather than the inspection of the finished product. Winning the HACCP certification is a reassurance that both Maalu Maalu and Aliya Resort and Spa’s food safety management systems are abreast of the international standards to maximize its service to their guests.
